The Relationship between Organizational Commitment and the Learning Organization Based on DLOQ Model in Sports and Youth Organizations of Kurdistan Province

چکیده مقاله:
Background: The present study aims to identify the relationship between organizational commitment and the learning organization based on DLOQ model.Materials and Methods: The population of the study consists of all employees of Sport and Youth organizations in Kurdistan province (N=130).Due to small size of thepopulation, the total number method used for sampling (N=n). Measuring tools for the study include standard questionnaires of Dimensions of Learning Organization, Marsick and Watkins (1996) and organizational commitment, Meyer and Allen (1993). Reliabilityof these two questionnaires in a research was calculated as 0.87 and 0.84 respectively. The validity of the questionnaires is also confirmed by five professors .To analyze thedata, descriptive and inferential statistics methods such as Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Pearson correlation coefficient and regression analysis were used .Results and Discussions: The obtained results of the study showed that there is a significant and positive relationship between organizational commitment and learning organization (P=0.001). Moreover; among the components of organization commitment, emotional commitment has the highest and normative commitment has the lowest predicting power for learning organization (P≤0.05).Conclusion: Finally according to results of the study some suggestions were made to officials of the ministry and managers of sport youth and youth organization in order to enhance employee commitment .
