Economic and Social Aspects of Privatisation in Power Industry of Iran

Privatisation is a controvertial and improtant issue in economic and social aspects of power industry.The most improtant objective of privatisation is to increase the productivity. This will be achieved by producing and supplying of services and goods withe the least cost and highest quality.In different countries, privatisation has been taken into consideration regarding the strengthes and weaknesses of the market and the state. Whereas in a comprehensive economic and social planning border of both the public and private sectors should be clearly defind and delineated.Privatisation is a paramount process and should be researched in a macro system. In the view of this systematic approach, it is understood that, there are numerous factros in the process of privatisation, which are intenvoven as links of a chain and realisation of each factros is essential for achieving the goals set for privatisation.In this paper, the most improtant factors are analysed in an intergreted system. So that the outcome could be studied by scientists and practitioners as a paradigm, provoking the rational debates in the privatisation Process of power industry.
