OPTIMIZATION OF INTERNAL ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF TABRIZ STEAM POWER PLANT, CONSIDERING THE ROLE OF LOW AMBIENT TEMPERATURE

In steam power plants, a major share of electrical energy generated is consummed by power plants itself as internal consumption. By taking some suitable measures the share of internal consumption can be reduced without consumption can be reduced without any adverse effects on the system reliability. In this paper some of these measures are discussed and the role of low ambient temperature as a factor to help reduction of internal consumption of Tabriz steam power plant is shown, as part of task toward optimization of this type of power plants.
