THE ROMANTIAN EXPERIENCE IN THE ANALYSIS AND REDUCTION OF ENERGY LOSSES IN ELECTRIC NETWORKS DISTRIBUTION

In Romania the concern for energy loss issue was permanent in the 1965 - 1995 period. The paper presents the approach to the problem of energy losses in electric networks in design -research level also, in operation areas. The difference between the energy entered the network and the energy sold, which is normally called "network energy losses", is analysed from three points of view: #1. The technological consumption, established in the design stage; #2. Technological losses in networks resulted from deviation from the optimal operation states; #3. Commercial losses due to the energy management system. We'll present and we'll explain the evolution of network energy losses in Romanian between 1989 - 1994. We'll compare these with other countries and we'll emphasize the most effective methods to reduce energy losses.
