THE DEVELOPMENT TENDENCY OF CENTRAL CHINA POWER NETWORK AT THE TURN OF THE CENTURY

The authors describe their view of the future structure scheme of Central China Power Network (CCPN) , and forward a number,of technical issues to be tackled. After the operation of Three Gorges Hydropower Station (TGHS), in the light of both the characteristics of CCPN and the situation of the construction of TGHS. This paper also predicts the tendency towards National United Power Network (NUPN) as well as the position of CCPN in NUPN at that time through analyzing the energy distribution features of peripheral network around CCPN.
