THE IMPORTANCE OF PLANNED MAINTENANCE IN KEEPING THE OPTIMUM LEVEL OF RELIABILITY

Changes in technologies and emphasis on Safety, reliability and availability of electrical and mechanical equipment ask for more attention to be paid on maintenance tasks. In this paper by giving a detail description of different aspects of mainenance and its strategies it is concluded that, in the early stages of a project a model test provides additional security as to obtaining the guaranteed efficiencies and may furnish information on possible disturbing influence emanating from existing components.
