Evaluation and ranking the suppliers of Sirjan municipality using Data Envelopment Analysis

Qualified suppliers’ selection as a powerful technique is one of the most essential activities for improvements of the continuity and operation of organizations by which the decision making units can more concentrate and focus on their own activities. For those organizations that are outsourcing their general activities to the third parties, using this technique will bring tremendous value to them. Sirjan Municipality with such an extent activities throughout the city as well as the importance of implementation of those cannot be exempted from taking advantage of the above mentioned technique. The purpose of this research is Introduction of a model for evaluation of the performance and ranking of suppliers in Sirjan Municipality. To achieve to this end, the first is to identify the assessment criteria based on which ten of suppliers are ranking by Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model.
