A METHOD FOR THE ANALYSIS OF THE OPPORTUNENESS AND EFFICIENCY OF THE MEASURES TO BE TAKEN TO ENHANCE THE AVAILABILITY OF THE THERMAL POWER PLANTS IN SERVICE

The thermal power plant " availability engineering 11 is a method of approaching the analysis carried out to determine if the measures to enhace the estimated availability of the new power plants (construction and equipping) and for the existing power plants as well (operation, maintenance, repairs, etc. are timely and efficient. The pack of activities included in the " availability engineering " figures out the availability characteristics of the power facilities as basic economic and technical characteristics to be incorporated into the installation rated characteristics. The paper presents briefly the method of analysis and selection of the efficient methods envisaged to enhace the availability and the activities required in the practical implementa tion of the method.
