TRANSIENT PERFORMANCES OF HIGH VOLTAGE CURRENT TRANSFORMERS, INFLUENCE OF THE SPECIFICATIONS ON THEIR DIMENSIONNING

The aim of this paper is to summarize the present situation of standards referring to transient performances current transformers (CT,s) and to show the influence of some parameters of the CT specifications on the size of the CT secondary cores and consequently on the cost of the transformer.
