DEVELOPMENT OF THE PACKAGE FOR THE TEMPORARY DATA BASE OF OPERATION PLANNING SUBSYSTEM OF YUGOSLAV ELECTRIC POWER SYSTEM

In the scope of the Operation Planning Subsystem (OPS), as a part of the Energy Management System (EMS) for the Yugoslav Electric Power System a Temporary Data Base (TDB) including all input data utilized in software support for short-term, medium-term and long-term ( annual) operation planning in the Yugoslav Electric power System (EPS) has been formed. The data from the Temporary Data Base are used for testing of all application programs within the OPS, as well as for forming an operational data base to be submitted to the Yugoslav EPS within the EMS. In this paper the following are described: functional model of the OPS, data model of TDB for OPS (algorithm by J . Martin), Martin), relations of the OPS with other subsystems of EMS, functional model of TDB for OPS (using HIPO - Hierarchy plus Input Process Otput method), software system including programs for interactive input and data storage, data handling and listing for the purpose of analysis and testing of the application programs of the OPS. In order to demonstrate the programming solutions some programs from the package for interactive data entry of power plants data as well as the manner of data listing for one application OPS program using dBASE Ill+ software for PC AT computers have been presented
