Title: Improving the performance of crop Evaluating the effects of nitrogen fertilizer and planting density on performance ofsingle grass corn 704

In this study, in order to evaluate the effects of planting density and nitrogen levels on forage maize physiological indices (s,c.704), an Experiment in a split plot in a randomized complete block design with three repeated in a farm located in the central part of Esfarayen was perfomed at 1390. Three levels of nitrogen (100, 200, 300 kg nitrogen per hectare as urea) were known as main element, and three levels of density (6, 8, 10 Plants per square meter) were as inferior element. 1.3 of Nitrogen fertilizer before planting and 2.3 of remaining is added to the soil-leaf stage 4.6. The way of planting was either raceway or bosk and dimensions of each plot was 13.5 multiplicate to 4 which is including 5 line of slew with 75cm distance between the lines and ٤cm length per line and 75cm distance between the plots was considered in order to preventing of water penetration to adjacent plots. The distance between repetitions were 2.5 meter. The results showed that the dry weight of forage increaces along with upper nitrogen fertilizer and planting density. In this condition, the maximum amount of dry forage was 300 kg nitrogen with a density of 80 thousand plants per hectare.
