چکیده مقاله:
Dispersive solid phase nanoextraction is presented as an alternative technique for extraction andpreconcentration of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene (BTEX) from aqueous samples. Thisnovel approach –that we have named dispersive solid phase nanoextraction (DSPNE)– is based onstrong affinity between BTEX and gold nanoparticles (GNP). Total extraction experimentalprocedure takes less than 20 min. Final analysis of BTEX performed by using Gas chromatography–mass spectrometric (GC/MS) detection. Different parameters affecting the extraction efficiency, such as the sample volume, extraction solvent type and volume and amount of the adsorbent wereinvestigated and optimized for this method. The striking features of this technique are correlated tothe small volume of water sample (200–1000 μl) and adsorbent (about 0.0005 g) and finally smallvolume of organic solvent (less than 50 μl) for analysis of BTEX. The results showed that dispersivesolid phase nanoextraction is a quick, relatively inexpensive and environmentally friendlyalternative technique for extraction of BTEX from water samples.
