چکیده مقاله:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Industry ۴.۰ technologies—including the Internet of Things (IoT), smart-city platforms (Geo-BIM/CIM), augmented/virtual reality (AR/VR), blockchain, and voice user interfaces (VUI)—are reshaping Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) by converting fragmented workflows into integrated, data-driven systems that link sensing, inference, and on-site action. In this review, BIM is positioned as the semantic backbone that enables these technologies to deliver real-time situational awareness, predictive support, tamper-evident provenance, and safer human–system interaction. We synthesize evidence across five integration pathways (BIM×IoT, BIM×Smart Cities, BIM×AR/VR, BIM×Blockchain, and BIM×AI-driven VUI/NLP) and summarize reported applications, benefits, and limitations. Overall, the literature indicates that AI-orchestrated stacks can improve operational efficiency, decision traceability, and stakeholder participation, while persistent gaps remain in interoperability, cybersecurity, reliable alignment of physical–digital data, utilization of non-geometric BIM attributes, and robustness/auditability of voice-driven interaction.
