چکیده مقاله:

The rapid growth of electric vehicles (EVs) in residential and commercial buildings introduces new operational challenges for distribution networks, particularly in terms of peak load intensification, voltage deviations, and energy imbalance. While existing EV charging strategies mainly focus on grid-centric or purely technical aspects, the role of user behavior and participation in demand response programs remains insufficiently addressed. This paper proposes a user-aware and energy-oriented scheduling framework for building-integrated EV charging aimed at enhancing distribution network stability under high penetration levels. The proposed approach explicitly incorporates user participation preferences alongside network operational constraints to coordinate EV charging in a demand-responsive manner. An energy-oriented objective function is formulated to mitigate peak demand, reduce voltage deviations, and improve overall energy balance within the distribution network. The effectiveness of the proposed framework is evaluated through simulation studies under multiple EV penetration and user participation scenarios. The results demonstrate that integrating user-aware demand response into EV charging schedules significantly improves voltage profiles, reduces peak load demand, and mitigates energy imbalance compared to conventional uncoordinated and grid-only scheduling strategies. The findings highlight the critical role of user behavior in achieving stable and energy-efficient operation of future building-integrated EV charging systems and provide valuable insights for distribution network operators and energy management system designers.
