A new approach for solving a class of fuzzy nonlinear programming problems

The aim of this paper is to solve a class of fuzzy nonlinear programming problems (FNPPs) that contain fuzzy nonlinear objective function and non-fuzzy nonlinear constraint functions using a new approach. This novel approach is based on 𝛼−cut sets and a new piecewise linearization definition. Finally, an applied example in mechanical design is illustrated in order to show the efficiency of this new approach.
