Artificial Intelligence and International Trade Law: Regulatory Challenges in the Digital Trade Era

Artificial intelligence has significantly transformed international trade and created new legal challenges for existing regulatory frameworks. This study examines the challenges of regulating artificial intelligence within international trade law, focusing on regulatory fragmentation, WTO rules, intellectual property protection, and the need for international coordination. Using a descriptive-analytical method and examining international legal instruments, this research demonstrates that flexible regulatory frameworks, common standards, and enhanced cooperation among countries are necessary to balance technological innovation, fair competition, and the protection of fundamental rights in global trade.
