چکیده مقاله:

In this study, Ti-xMn-yFe titanium-based coatings were successfully fabricated on ۳۱۶L stainless steel substrates using a pulsed laser beam to enhance bioactivity. The optimized processing parameters were determined as a pre-deposition thickness of ۵۰۰ μm, a laser power of ۲۵۰۰ W, and a scanning speed of ۳ mm/s. These conditions produced uniform, defect-free coatings with an approximate dilution rate of ۲۰%. Microscopic observations revealed that all coatings exhibited dendritic and cellular solidification structures, with secondary dendrite arm spacing of approximately ۳ μm. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed the presence of a-titanium, ß-titanium, and Ti۲Fe intermetallic phases in the surface coatings. Elemental mapping showed that iron was predominantly concentrated in the dendritic regions, while titanium was enriched in the interdendritic zones. Bioactivity testing demonstrated that the Ti-۳Mn-۳Fe coating produced the highest amount of hydroxyapatite deposits, with a Ca/P ratio of ۱.۵۵—close to the stoichiometric value of ۱.۶۷—indicating superior bioactive performance.
