چکیده مقاله:

Directional solidification of the CMSX-۴ nickel-based superalloy was performed using the Bridgman technique to study single-crystal growth. The effects of thermal gradient and growth rate on dendrite arm spacing and solidification interface stability were evaluated through ProCAST simulations. The results showed that increasing the thermal gradient and lowering the growth rate improve directional solidification, reduce interfacial instability, and promote a stable single-crystal structure. The study identifies optimal solidification conditions essential for achieving defect-free single-crystal growth in CMSX-۴ for turbine blade applications.
