Investigating and Analyzing the Role of Digital Technologies and Smartization in Optimizing Supply Chains in Industrial Management

In recent years, the rapid advancement of digital technologies has significantly transformed industrial systems and supply chain management practices. Traditional supply chain models are increasingly unable to respond effectively to the growing complexity, uncertainty, and dynamic nature of modern industrial environments. This study aims to investigate and analyze the role of digital technologies and smartization in optimizing supply chain performance within the context of industrial management. The research adopts an analytical approach by integrating key enabling technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data Analytics, and Blockchain to examine their collective impact on supply chain efficiency, responsiveness, and resilience. Furthermore, this study identifies existing research gaps in the literature, particularly the lack of integrated analytical frameworks that simultaneously consider multiple digital technologies in supply chain optimization. Based on these gaps, a conceptual analytical model is proposed to explain the relationships between digital transformation and supply chain performance indicators. The findings suggest that the synergistic application of digital technologies leads to improved decision-making, reduced operational costs, enhanced transparency, and increased adaptability in industrial supply chains. The study contributes both theoretically and practically by providing a comprehensive framework for understanding how digitalization and smart systems can be leveraged to achieve optimized supply chain performance in industrial settings.
