چکیده مقاله:

The rapid growth of global population and emerging environmental changes have posed fundamental challenges to agriculture, such as resource depletion, increased incidence of pests and diseases, the need for higher productivity, and the imperative of sustainability. In this context, artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a novel and powerful tool, opening new horizons for the transformation of agriculture. By leveraging techniques such as expert systems, neural networks, fuzzy logic, machine vision, and the Internet of Things (IoT), AI enables precise data analysis, intelligent monitoring of soil and crops, effective pest and weed management, crop yield prediction, automation of planting, cultivation, and harvesting processes. These technologies not only enhance productivity and reduce risks, but also play a crucial role in resource optimization, quality improvement, and environmental sustainability. However, the adoption of AI in agriculture is not without challenges. Issues such as the need for high-quality data, substantial costs, lack of training and infrastructure, security and privacy risks, and social acceptance remain significant barriers. Furthermore, ethical considerations-including transparency, fairness, accountability, respect for human dignity, and environmental sustainability-must be carefully addressed to ensure that the use of AI contributes to the fair, sustainable, and responsible advancement of future agriculture.
