This quasi-experimental study investigated the efficacy of cognitive-motor games in improving auditory and visual processing skills while simultaneously enhancing motivation for sustained progress in children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Using a pre-test/post-test control group design, ۳۰ elementary students (۱۵ girls, ۱۵ boys) from Tehran’s schools were randomly assigned to experimental (n=۱۵) and control (n=۱۵) groups. The IVA-۲ test (Integrated Visual and Auditory Continuous Performance Test) measured baseline and post-intervention responses to sensory stimuli, while motivational engagement was quantified via real-time interaction metrics (e.g., task persistence, self-reported effort). The intervention integrated sensory-motor coordination tasks (e.g., rhythmic movement synchronized with visual/audio cues) to target core ADHD deficits. Results revealed significant improvements in auditory-visual skills and ۴۲.۳% higher motivation for progress (measured via engagement metrics) in the experimental group versus the control group Crucially, the motivational engagement directly correlated with skill gains, confirming that cognitive-motor games foster sustained progress through intrinsic motivation. This study establishes cognitive-motor games as a technology-driven rehabilitation tool that simultaneously addresses sensory processing deficits and motivational barriers in ADHD, offering a scalable, non-pharmacological solution for educational settings.
