چکیده مقاله:

This research investigates the transformative role of prefabrication in shaping future urban architecture. Drawing on a systematic review of ۳۰ scholarly sources, the study synthesizes theoretical frameworks, methodological approaches, and practical applications to provide a comprehensive understanding of prefabrication within urban contexts. The analysis situates prefabrication as a systemic phenomenon, shaped by technological innovation, socio-cultural dynamics, and contextual conditions. Findings highlight its potential to address critical urban challenges including density, affordability, sustainability, and resilience. Through the examination of case studies-spanning housing, infrastructure, and modular public spaces the research reveals how prefabrication enables rapid deployment, resource efficiency, and adaptive urban forms. Statistical and thematic analyses demonstrate correlations between organizational capacity, stakeholder engagement, and successful implementation. At the same time, the study identifies persistent challenges such as regulatory barriers, technological integration, and cultural acceptance. Looking ahead, scenario-based projections illustrate prefabrication's capacity to reconfigure urban living through sustainable models of collective habitation and scalable urban interventions. The paper contributes both theoretically-by integrating interdisciplinary perspectives into a coherent framework and practically-by offering recommendations for policymakers, practitioners, and educators. Ultimately, it argues that prefabrication represents not only a construction method but also a paradigm shift in urban development, capable of enabling cities to adapt to accelerating social and environmental transformations.
