چکیده مقاله:

This paper explores the integration of Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles with art-based therapeutic approaches to enhance the quality of life through emotionally meaningful product experiences. Grounded in the five-phase Design Thinking framework, including; Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test, the research emphasizes the importance of user participation, iterative evaluation, and aesthetic engagement in the design of therapeutic products. Through literature review and conceptual synthesis, the study identifies key intersections between HCD and art therapy, demonstrating how empathy-driven and aesthetically enriched design processes can improve usability, satisfaction, and emotional well-being. The design process highlights how color, form, and texture influence psychological response, while user testing confirms the value of personalization, clarity, and emotional resonance in enhancing user trust and engagement. Findings indicate that art-integrated HCD products outperform traditional technology- or function-centered designs by fostering stronger emotional bonds, higher acceptance, and greater psychosocial benefits. The paper concludes by proposing an interdisciplinary framework for Design for Well-being, advocating the fusion of artistic creativity, human-centered methods, and emerging technologies to promote holistic health and sustainable happiness.
