چکیده مقاله:

The global fashion industry is one of the largest contributors to environmental degradation due to excessive resource consumption, chemical pollution, and textile waste. In recent years, sustainable fashion has emerged as a solution to minimize the ecological footprint of textile and clothing design. This study investigates the potential of recycled and eco-friendly fibers, such as recycled polyester, organic cotton, bamboo, and hemp, in creating sustainable textiles. A mixed-method approach is employed, combining a literature review with a small-scale experimental design project involving prototype garment creation. The findings demonstrate that eco-friendly fibers not only reduce environmental impact but also provide competitive performance in terms of durability, comfort, and aesthetics. Consumer feedback collected through surveys indicates a growing interest in sustainable clothing, though challenges remain in affordability and mass production. This research highlights the importance of integrating sustainable fibers into mainstream fashion and provides recommendations for designers and industry stakeholders.
