چکیده مقاله:

The integration of modern technologies into plant sciences has significantly advanced research and agricultural practices, contributing to global sustainable development. In this method, research methods were conducted on conference proceedings and technical reports using databases including Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, and Google Scholar. Innovations such as CRISPR-Cas۹ genome editing, next-generation sequencing (NGS), high-throughput phenotyping, drone-based remote sensing, and machine learning algorithms have revolutionized crop improvement, disease management, and resource optimization. These technologies enhance our ability to develop climate-resilient crops, improve yield potential, and reduce environmental impacts. Plant sciences play a crucial role in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Zero Hunger (SDG ۲), Climate Action (SDG ۱۳), and Life on Land (SDG ۱۵). This review highlights key technological advancements, their applications in agriculture, and their contributions to sustainability. We discuss genomic tools, precision agriculture, and bioinformatics, emphasizing their potential to address food security challenges while promoting ecological balance. Challenges such as ethical concerns, regulatory frameworks, and technology accessibility are also addressed. Future research should focus on interdisciplinary collaboration, equitable technology dissemination, and policy support to maximize the benefits of these innovations.
