چکیده مقاله:
Storing consumable or manufactured materials in open space and in piles exposed to wind flow is important from an environmental and economic perspective. piles are stacked in various shapes, usually pyramidal and conical. In this study, numerical simulation of the turbulent air flow field and the transport of microscale solid particles (iron ore) around a conical accumulation pile has been carried out. To solve this problem, the behavior of wind flow around the conical pile has been simulated in three dimensions using computational fluid dynamics techniques and Fluent software. The model in question is considered in three dimensions and incompressible fluid flow. The results of this research are to provide a model for simulating the wind erosion phenomenon from the surface, to study the concentration of dispersed materials downstream of the pile, and consequently to provide solutions to reduce the wind erosion and reduce its adverse environmental effects. The results of this research show a comparison of the wind erosion in different parts of the pile separately in each case. Based on the results, critical points in terms of wind erosion on the pile in different cases have been identified.
