Neutrinos, the elusive, nearly massless fundamental particles, are increasingly recognized not just as cosmic messengers but as potential tools in cutting-edge medical science. Their unique properties negligible interaction cross-section, lack of electric charge, and high penetration capability offer avenues for diagnostic and therapeutic applications that surpass current limitations of traditional ionizing radiation or stable isotopes. This review explores the confluence of neutrino physics and biomedical applications. We detail the potential of Cherenkov radiation generated by high-energy particles resulting from neutrino interactions for real-time deep-tissue imaging. Furthermore, we provide an in-depth examination of Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT), a therapy rooted in nuclear physics principles, highlighting its mechanistic advantages over conventional radiotherapy. Finally, we address the significant technical challenges inherent in harnessing these subtle interactions, outlining future research directions necessary to translate these theoretical potentials into clinical reality, emphasizing the synergy between particle astrophysics and translational medicine.
