چکیده مقاله:
Neuromuscular disorders such as stroke, muscular dystrophy, and age-related sarcopenia significantly reduce an individual's ability to perform voluntary movement. Conventional exoskeletal rehabilitation systems are typically rigid, heavy, and uncomfortable, which restricts long-term usage in daily environments. Recent advances in soft robotics and flexible bio-electronics have enabled the development of wearable robotic systems capable of adapting to complex body motion with minimal discomfort. This work presents the design, implementation, and experimental validation of a soft wearable exosuit that integrates stretchable nano-scale electromyography (EMG) sensors and distributed soft actuators for real-time adaptive motor assistance. A machine-learning-based control algorithm interprets EMG signals to modulate actuator output according to user intent and muscle fatigue levels. Experimental results with healthy and mobility-impaired participants demonstrate increased movement range (up to ۳۵%), reduced muscular effort (up to ۲۸% EMG reduction), and improved comfort. These outcomes indicate strong potential for clinical rehabilitation and daily mobility assistance.
