The urgent global demand for sustainable development necessitates transformative innovations in architecture. This study explores the profound potential of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Renewable Energy Technologies (RETs) to revolutionize sustainable architectural design and performance. By leveraging AI's predictive analytics, optimization algorithms, and real-time adaptive systems, architects can now simulate, evaluate, and optimize building performance with unprecedented precision. Simultaneously, advances in RETS-such as photovoltaic systems, wind microturbines, and geothermal solutions-enable structures to achieve near-zero or even net-positive energy performance. This paper presents a comprehensive framework that synthesizes AI-driven design strategies with RET integration throughout the architectural lifecycle, from conceptual modeling to post-occupancy monitoring. Through critical analysis of recent case studies, empirical data, and advanced simulations, we demonstrate how this synergy can minimize environmental impact, enhance energy efficiency, and promote user-centric, resilient building systems. The findings underscore that the convergence of AI and RETS is not merely an enhancement of existing sustainable practices but a paradigm shift toward intelligent, adaptive, and regenerative architecture. This transformation holds the key to addressing the architectural challenges of the ۲۱st century and advancing the global sustainability agenda.
