چکیده مقاله:

The construction industry, as one of the most hazardous global sectors, requires innovative safety solutions. This paper examines the integration of advanced technologies such as BIM, wearable technologies, drones, and predictive data analytics in risk and safety management in construction projects. These technologies enhance site monitoring, prevent accidents, and facilitate compliance with safety regulations, fostering a safer work environment and more sustainable project management. However, barriers such as resistance to change, skill gaps, and high initial costs pose challenges to the adoption of these technologies. Beyond technology, fostering a strong safety culture, targeted training, and increasing risk awareness play a crucial role in reducing accidents and injuries. This paper also explores the role of safety regulations, the importance of collaboration with regulatory bodies, and the benefits of using advanced technologies to improve productivity, risk management, and communication. Finally, by providing solutions to overcome challenges and outlining future directions, it underscores the necessity of advancing toward a technology-driven construction industry with a highly skilled workforce.
