چکیده مقاله:

When can we consider a house in the sense of a home? In other words, Can today's housing be reminiscent of the concept of a home? Nowadays, due to the significant progress in technology and the extensive use of artificial intelligence (AI) in housing design, there is still a distinct need to redefine concepts and human involvement in designing process. Society has become clearly aware that there are still some missing parts within today's house designing due to lack of sense of belong and emotional senses. Living spaces must not only be sustainable, functional, and aesthetically beautiful but also comfortable, safe, and accessible, and, above all, create a sense of belonging. Although many researchers now define home as a multidimensional concept, and acknowledge the presence of and need for multidisciplinary research in the field, there is still a gap to pay special attention to the basic requirements in design and the need to redefine the basic concepts in creating the concept of a house. Therefore, in this article the necessary and fundamental factors that have been expressed throughout history by prominent architectural theorists is explained. Initially, defining the concept of a home and basic factors from the perspective of architectural researchers and related articles, and then review the factors and requirements of housing design. This paper can help designers and architects, as well as companies and public administrations, to follow an innovative path in the planning of better cities and buildings.
