This comprehensive meta-analysis investigates the quantitative relationship between psychological resilience and job satisfaction among the nursing workforce in the Islamic Republic of Iran, specifically focusing on the period from ۲۰۲۰ to ۲۰۲۵. This timeframe encompasses the peak of the COVID-۱۹ pandemic and the subsequent recovery phase, providing a unique context for evaluating psychological endurance. Following a rigorous systematic search across international and national databases including Google Scholar, PubMed, Scopus, SID, and Magiran, seven primary studies meeting strict inclusion criteria were selected for synthesis. The total sample size across all studies comprised ۱,۷۹۰ nurses. Data were analyzed using both fixed-effects and random-effects models. The results demonstrate a statistically significant and robust positive correlation between resilience and job satisfaction (pooled r = ۰.۴۲۴, ۹۵% CI [۰.۳۸۸, ۰.۴۵۹], p < ۰.۰۰۱). Subgroup analysis indicated that while the correlation remains strong across different regions, organizational factors in private vs. public sectors slightly moderate the strength of this relationship. This study provides definitive evidence that enhancing resilience is a critical pathway to improving job satisfaction and reducing turnover intentions in the Iranian healthcare system.
