Design of ۵۰-person passenger vessel Dartimos with using software and analysis of mathematical calculations

This type of passenger ship is used for transporting passengers over short distances. In other countries, this model of ship is called a ‘water bus’ or ‘ferry boat’. The objective of this project is, in fact, the conceptual design of a passenger ship for ۵۰ people. The design for its construction and hydrostatic and hydrodynamic analyses has been performed using the software packages Autohydro, Autopower, and Autoship. The objective is to design a ۵۰-passenger ferry with a length of ۱۷ meters, a beam of ۵ meters, and a draft of ۱.۶۱ meters. Its range is ۲۵۰ nautical miles, and its sea condition resistance is ۳-۴ (force). The intended passenger ship has a speed of ۲۰ knots.
