چکیده مقاله:

The rapid expansion of the Internet of Things has led to a massive increase in interconnected devices that continuously generate diverse and high-frequency data streams, posing significant challenges for managing dynamic data flows in large-scale cyber-physical systems. Digital Twin technology has emerged as a transformative approach that bridges physical and virtual environments through real-time synchronization, modeling, and simulation; however, its large-scale deployment across IoT networks introduces complex challenges related to performance, scalability, and reliability. These challenges span three critical layers-data and compute, communication, management and security-encompassing issues such as massive data volumes, real-time processing, synchronization accuracy, latency reduction, bandwidth optimization, lifecycle orchestration, interoperability, and cybersecurity. The convergence of emerging technologies such as Edge Computing, fifth- and sixth-generation networks, and intelligent optimization techniques offers promising solutions to enhance scalability, reliability, and resilience. Ultimately, achieving robust and adaptive Digital Twin ecosystems depends on reimagining network architectures capable of meeting the stringent demands of next-generation IoT environments.
