The tourism industry is one of the important economic sectors in which high energy consumption has created significant environmental challenges. The increase in tourism demand and the growth of infrastructure cause double pressure on natural resources and the production of greenhouse gases. In this study, a mathematical model is presented to optimize energy consumption in tourism centers, which aims to reduce energy consumption and pollutant emissions without compromising the quality of tourism services. The proposed model is designed taking into account service quality constraints, equipment capacity and environmental limitations and has the ability to apply renewable energies. In order to evaluate the efficiency of the model, a real numerical solution for a medium-sized accommodation center was presented and the results were analyzed in the form of tables and graphs. The results show that the implementation of energy consumption optimization solutions and the use of renewable resources can significantly reduce energy consumption and play an effective role in realizing sustainable and green tourism.
