The rapid expansion of the tourism industry has intensified pressure on natural resources, highlighting the need for sustainable and intelligent management approaches. Green tourism emphasizes minimizing environmental impacts while enhancing visitor experiences. In this context, artificial intelligence (AI) offers powerful tools for optimizing resource consumption, predicting usage patterns, and supporting data-driven decision-making. This paper examines the role of AI-based smart resource management systems in advancing green tourism development. Through a review of global case studies and technological applications, the findings show that Al-driven solutions such as machine learning algorithms, IoT-enabled monitoring systems, and predictive analytics can reduce energy and water consumption, lower operational costs, and improve environmental performance in tourism facilities. The study proposes a conceptual framework for integrating AI technologies into sustainable tourism strategies, offering practical insights for policymakers, investors, and tourism managers.
