چکیده مقاله:

The purpose of this study is to develop an evolving model for measuring organizational learning capability (OLC) in the Iranian automotive industry by applying the family of indicators approach (FIA) and exploratory factor analysis (EFA). Managers from Iran Khodro company were selected as the statistical population, and data were analyzed to identify the underlying structure of OLC. The findings reveal that twelve components derived from the family of indicators approach can be consolidated into four overarching factors: Collaborative Learning and Adaptive Knowledge Dynamics, Exploratory Dialogue and Strategic Alliance Capability, Innovative Collaboration and Strategic Partnership Dynamics, and Vision-Driven Leadership Capability. Together, these factors capture the multidimensional nature of OLC, reflecting how organizations foster teamwork, knowledge transfer, experimentation, dialogue, alliance-building, innovation, and leadership commitment to mission clarity. Theoretically, this research contributes to organizational learning literature by demonstrating that OLC is a dynamic and context-specific construct shaped by industry conditions in emerging economies. Practically, the model provides managers with a structured tool to evaluate and enhance organizational learning, enabling targeted interventions that strengthen adaptability, innovation, and competitiveness in volatile markets. Socially, the findings highlight the broader role of OLC in workforce empowerment, industrial resilience, and national economic development. The originality of this study lies in its contextual focus on the Iranian automotive sector, a strategically significant yet underexplored industry. By consolidating diverse components into a comprehensive model, the research offers actionable insights for managers and policymakers while enriching global discourse on organizational learning capability in emerging economies.
