One-pot regioselective synthesis of ۳,۵-arylated pyrazoles from ۲,۳-dibromo-۱,۳-diarylpropan-۱-ones

This study presents an efficient and straightforward method for the synthesis of ۳,۵‑disubstituted pyrazoles. The procedure involves a one‑pot regioselective condensation reaction between ۲,۳‑dibromo‑۱,۳‑diarylpropan‑۱‑ones and hydrazine derivatives in ethanol (EtOH), proceeding through the formation of a useful intermediate, ۴‑bromo‑۱,۳‑aryl‑۴,۵‑dihydro‑۱H‑pyrazole.
