Development of a New Nanomagnetic Cu–Co Bimetallic Catalyst Based on Chitosan for Palladium- and Solvent-free Sonogashira Cross-Coupling Reaction

In this work, a new magnetic bimetallic nanocatalyst (Fe۳O۴@chitosan@L/Cu-Co) was successfully synthesized and characterized using different analyses. Fe۳O۴@chitosan@L/Cu-Co was found to be a powerful nanocatalyst for the Sonogashira cross-coupling reaction. In this bimetallic catalytic system, all products were synthesized with high yields in short reaction times and solvent-free conditions.
