چکیده مقاله:

Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) are a type of advanced porous material that have gained considerable interest because of their wide range of uses in gas storage, catalysis, energy storage, and chemical and biological sensing. This popularity is due to their large surface area, adjustable structures, and well-organized crystalline frameworks. In this research, we created a new metal–organic framework named Ka/Zn-MOF by using kojic acid as a bidentate ligand and zinc acetate as the metal source. The MOF was synthesized through hydrothermal and solvothermal techniques. The produced material was analyzed using FT-IR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction (XRD) to examine its functional groups, crystal structure, and phase purity. The findings confirmed that kojic acid effectively coordinated with Zn²⁺ ions, resulting in a stable crystalline framework. Furthermore, we will investigate the potential for synthesizing, modifying, and broadening the applications of nano-MOFs. This could open new avenues for innovative uses across multiple disciplines and improve the performance of these materials in both scientific research and industrial applications.
