Designing Risk Management Strategies for EPC Projects Using the SWOT Method within the ISO ۳۱۰۰۰ Framework: A Case Study of the NGL۳۲۰۰ Pipeline Project

This paper presents a novel framework for decision-making in the risk management of EPC projects. The proposed approach integrates SWOT analysis with the requirements of the international ISO ۳۱۰۰۰:۲۰۱۸ standard, offering a systematic methodology for assessing internal and external factors influencing project success. By identifying and prioritizing key risks, risk management strategies can be purposefully designed and implemented. The findings of this study aim to enhance decision-making processes, increase the likelihood of project success, and effectively reduce costs and schedule delays. The case study demonstrates the practical applicability and effectiveness of this approach in a real-world EPC project.
