By considering the high levels of wind power penetration in power systems along with the stochastic nature of wind power, the necessity of probabilistic small-signal stability studies becomes vivid. This Paper, proposes a Monte Carlo based probabilistic method to investigate small-signal stability ofisolated micro grids consist of grid connected wind power plants. In this study, state-space equations of systems are obtained analytically and then these equations are employed to calculate the eigenvalues of system. By assessing critical eigenvalues of system using Monte Carlo method, the probability of small-signal stability of micro grid is calculated from the probability density function of wind speed. The result of a deterministic small-signal stability analysis is also brought for comparison. The results suggest the advantage of probabilistic methods over deterministic approaches for small-signal studies in the presence of wind power
