Urban planning for tourism development using Misnard climatic comfort index

Today tourism is one of the most dynamic and revenue generating sectors in our country. In this study we used Misnard index (ET1) in order to determine adequate times for tourism in city of Golmakan during a statical period of 21 years (1990-2010). The results obtained from this study indicate that Months of September, August, June, and July have the most adequate conditions for tourism presence in this province, and months of January, February, December, and March have the least adequate conditions for tourism presence.
