چکیده مقاله:

Project risk management is a cornerstone of successful project delivery across all sectors. Nevertheless, traditional methodologies frequently encounter significant limitations, including reliance on subjective expert judgments, delays in identifying nascent and complex risks, and inherent difficulties in effectively analyzing and extracting insights from increasingly vast and varied datasets. Artificial Intelligence (AI) emerges as a profoundly transformative technology, offering substantial potential for augmenting and fundamentally enhancing the processes of project risk management. This comprehensive article systematically explores the diverse and critical roles that AI can play throughout the entire project risk management lifecycle, encompassing Planning, Identification, Analysis (Qualitative and Quantitative), Response Planning, Implementation, and Monitoring & Control. It delves deeply into how AI can operate in close collaboration with project managers and risk professionals to dramatically improve accuracy, accelerate processes, and elevate overall efficiency and effectiveness. Drawing upon an extensive review of the existing academic literature, including pivotal recent research, this paper meticulously details the key benefits derived from the strategic application of AI, such as significantly improved predictive capabilities, substantial reduction of human errors and cognitive biases, and the unprecedented ability to process, analyze, and derive actionable intelligence from massive volumes of complex, high-velocity data. Furthermore, the article critically examines the significant challenges associated with the practical implementation of AI in this domain. These challenges include crucial issues related to data quality and integrity, ensuring algorithm transparency and interpretability, navigating complex ethical considerations (including bias and accountability), and the technical and organizational complexities of integrating AI systems with existing project management tools and organizational workflows. The overarching objective of this research is to articulate a holistic and comprehensive perspective on how AI can synergistically collaborate with project management professionals to construct more robust, resilient, and highly adaptable risk management frameworks, essential for successfully navigating the complexities and uncertainties inherent in today’s dynamic project environments. Special attention is given to how AI, coupled with advanced data sources like biometric monitoring (e.g., EEG data as explored by Arpaia et al., ۲۰۲۵), can revolutionize the management of human-factor risks.
