چکیده مقاله:
This research investigates the flexural behavior of concrete beams reinforced with locally produced GFRP bars subjected to four-point bending tests. A main innovation of this study is the precise nonlinear finite element modeling performed using ABAQUS software, which enables accurate simulation of the beams' flexural response. Results demonstrate that increasing the GFRP reinforcement ratio significantly improves the ultimate load capacity and reduces mid-span deflections. Comparison of numerical results with the analytical model from ACI ۴۴۰.۱R-۰۶ indicates that while the analytical model provides a reasonable overall prediction, it requires modifications for better representation of the nonlinear material behavior and actual capacity. The ABAQUS simulations offer a more refined analysis by capturing nonlinear and brittle behaviors, making them crucial for enhanced design. Analysis of the load-deflection curves reveals distinctions among the experimental, ABAQUS, and ACI models: ABAQUS models closely depict nonlinear responses and ultimate behaviors, ACI provides a simpler linearized approximation, and experimental results serve as reference points. These differences highlight the limitations of analytical models in reflecting complex material responses and emphasize the importance of numerical modeling for precise performance prediction of GFRP-reinforced beams. This comprehensive approach supports the development of advanced design and analysis methodologies for these structural elements.
