چکیده مقاله:

This study introduces a sustainable construction material, glass textile-reinforced alkali-activated slag concrete (GTR-AASC), designed to enhance both strength and durability. Specimens were prepared with varying amounts of polypropylene (PP) fibers and layers of fiberglass mesh. Compressive, tensile, and four-point bending tests were conducted, along with freeze-thaw resistance evaluations. The results demonstrate that alkali-activated slag concrete significantly improves the flexural strength and toughness of textile-reinforced concrete. Incorporating two layers of fiberglass mesh with ۰.۵% PP fibers increased flexural strength by nearly ۱۲%. Similarly, doubling the mesh layers enhanced flexural strength by about ۱۰.۳%, depending on placement. The combined use of mesh and PP fibers also improved freeze-thaw resistance; after ۳۰۰ cycles, samples with two mesh layers and ۰.۵% PP fibers exhibited a ۲۷.۱% increase in flexural strength. Overall, the findings highlight the potential of GTR-AASC as a durable and eco-friendly material for sustainable construction.
