چکیده مقاله:

The construction of geosynthetic reinforced soil (GRS) walls has progressively increased in comparison with conventional concrete weighting walls over the past decades due to their numerous advantages, containing lower construction cost and time, easier construction process, the possibility of construction on weaker soils, and fine performance of such walls during past earthquakes. The construction of over ۲۰۰,۰۰۰ GRS walls worldwide until ۲۰۱۸ can prove this fact. Previous research has identified several key factors that influence the seismic performance of GRS walls. In this regard, this study aims to present the most critical parameters relating to GRS wall characteristics and loading conditions, based on laboratory, numerical, and analytical investigations. To this end, the literature has been categorized into four groups: shaking table tests, centrifuge tests, numerical analyses, and analytical assessments. Key findings from these analyses have been compiled in several tables, representing important insights. The results reveal notable gaps in the current literature, indicating significant discrepancies between the predictions made by existing design guidelines for GRS walls and the actual experimental and numerical observations. Finally, ۱۷ key parameters and their effects on the seismic behavior of GRS walls have been detected and summarized in a conclusion Table.
