چکیده مقاله:
Hydrogen, due to its abundance and wide range of production sources, can be considered a desirable option for energy production and storage. Hydrogen possesses the advantages of high energy efficiency and low pollutant emission levels, making it an attractive energy carrier for electrical energy production and various applications. Fuel cells are one of the promising technologies capable of directly converting hydrogen into electrical energy. Electrochemical energy converters can also convert the chemical energy of a fuel (usually hydrogen) directly into electrical energy. In terms of efficiency, polymer electrolyte fuel cells are mostly used for domestic applications, and other fuel cells (high-temperature fuel cells) are used for power plant applications. Based on industrial challenges, hydrogen combustion can be specifically discussed. Given the trend of numerous applications, new processes for hydrogen production, storage, and combustion can be an effective step. For this reason, comparing these processes can meet the energy needs of the country’s refinery and vital industries. The most important method for producing high-purity hydrogen is the use of palladium membranes, which are being studied in most reputable research centers in the world. In this research, specific and practical processes in hydrogen production, storage, and combustion have been investigated and compared.
