چکیده مقاله:

With the rapid expansion of sports infrastructure in the country, the design of football stadiums as multifunctional urban spaces demands an approach that is scientific, climate-adaptive, and structurally sound. This study aims to identify the key indicators influencing football stadium design within the specific climatic context of Alborz Province. Characterized by intense solar radiation, variable wind patterns, and diverse humidity conditions, this region provides a compelling case for climate-conscious architectural analysis. The research employed a descriptive-analytical and survey-based methodology. Data were collected using standardized questionnaires and semi-structured interviews, then analyzed through statistical methods including Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Pearson correlation, and multiple regression using SPSS software. Findings reveal that climatic variables-such as prevailing wind direction, solar intensity, and diurnal temperature variation-directly impact natural ventilation strategies, material selection, and site orientation. Moreover, indicators including transportation infrastructure, crowd safety, spectator sightlines, the use of spatial structures like diagrids, and advanced materials such as ETFE and zip panels emerged as critical to achieving optimal design outcomes. Ultimately, this study proposes a localized framework and practical model for designing climate-resilient football stadiums, with implications for broader application across other semi-arid and mountainous regions of the country.
