چکیده مقاله:
In nanotechnology, self-assembly and self-organized (or self-ordered) production procedures are acknowledged as the most elegant and economical means of producing complex and useful nanostructured materials. Meanwhile, nanoporous anodic alumina (AAO) as a self-organized material with nanopore arrays has been applied in numerous researches. However, the growing interest in nanoscale materials and their exceptional qualities has made nanoporous AAO one of the most widely used nanomaterials, with uses in a wide range of fields such as drug delivery, molecular separation, catalysis, energy generation and storage, electronics and photonics, sensors and biosensors, and template synthesis. In this work, a solid phase extraction method coupled by UV-Vis spectrophotometry based on modified nanoporous alumina was introduced for preconcentration and determination of Th(IV). Nanoporous alumina synthesized by two steps anodizing and modified with sodium dodecyl sulfate. In the preconcentration step, a complex of Th(IV)-Thorin adsorbed on the modified nanoporous alumina and then was eluted using an acidic solution. The modified nanoporous alumina was characterized by SEM, EDX, and AFM analysis. The effect of different variables on the formation of modified nanoporous alumina and solid phase extraction method was studied, and optimum conditions were obtained. The calibration graph was linear in the range of ۱.۵-۱۰۰ ng mL-۱ of Th(IV), and the limit of detection was ۱.۲ ng mL-۱. The relative standard deviation for ۵ and ۵۰ ng mL-۱ of Th(IV) was ۴.۲۵ and ۱.۳۴%, respectively. The method was used for the determination of Th(IV) in different water samples.
